Critical Mass Mailart show

A friend is converting her warehouse in Eagle Rock into a “pop-up” art space for the months of April and May.
Part of the exhibits and performances is a mailart show I am organizing, on the theme of “Critical Mass”.
Now critical mass can mean many different things, but to the bike community it means a specific ride and public action.
I am hoping for a big representation of bike related art for this show.
So get your creativeness in gear and make some fabulous thing that can be mailed to the warehouse called pLAyLAnd.
What is mailart? It’s anything that can be sent through the postal system:
Drawings, paintings, photographs, collage, spoke cards, etc., etc.
Everything sent will be exhibited, no entry fee, no return of artwork, every artist will get documentation mailed to them (be sure to include your return address).
Mail your creative thing to:
pLAyLAnd
4140 Eagle Rock Blvd.
L.A. 90065
The space opens April 3, but mailart submissions will be accepted until the end of the exhibit on May 31.
There will be a big opening reception on Saturday April 3. In addition, I am planning a ride to the space later and a special reception for the L.A. bike community.

I am really hoping for a strong response from the cycling community.
Mail your art related to critical mass. It can be a postcard, xerox, spoke card, photograph, drawing, painting...any creative thing which can be sent through the mail. Everything sent will be exhibited, no entry fee.
There will be a special ride to the exhibit in May, and the opening reception is a week from Saturday.
The space is a short ride from downtown, on the north side of Mt. Washington.
