I notice the gallery doesn't seem to be getting as many additions as it has in the past.

Has no one got the time? Or is everyone with a camera going soft?
My link to the outside world is getting kind of monotous.

Yes, this is very, definitely a disturbing trend.
Hell, even the flickr linkage has gone down considerably as well.

Of all my rants and general concerns, I'm going to keep this as a top-priority on the BUMP list.
I do see plenty of other cameras out and about whenever I'm down there, but it seems to me like thousands, potentially millions, of photos never see the light of day.

I rarely post to the MR gallery because it takes forever and a day to fill out all the forms, and honestly I haven't been out to as many rides lately as I have been working tons of overtime during the week and doing lots of racing on weekends (and hence getting to sleep at reasonable time for early morning races). But here are a few pics off my flickr from some of the more recent things I was at.

Just posted 3 rides worth of stuff. The interface is a hurdle to posting, but I can't complain too much. It is a great place to archive rides and we must do with what we have.

Maybe people are finally having experiences and participating in things instead of obsessively documenting other people's things and experiences?

Well, that's good and all.
But the amount of pictures still taken at these rides are still failing to turn up in places we could view them in all their glory.

My guess is maybe these unknown ridazz are just like me, no crew outside of cycling, family and few friends aren't interested.
On their downtimes, they like to peruse throught their growing, personal album and remininsce to bring the positivity back up.

Myself?
I just haven't been on anything resembling a ride lately to take any good pictures of.
Perhaps as a consolation, I'll start taking night pictures of those oversized, flatbed loads that get escorted by CHP along Bear Valley rd.

I mean, back in '06 I actually saw what appeared to be some M1 tanks being hauled on civilian flatbeds, complete with a CHP and USMC Military Police escort.
