Some asshole jacked the quick release skewers off my bike but left the wheels.
How mean-spirited is that?!
Of course it's easy and cheap to replace. But that's just mean. MEEEAN.
Occurred at the WeHo Gateway between 9 and 10pm.
MEEEEEEEAAAANNNNNN.

I heard of people stealing components off of bikes when the bikes and wheels are locked. You're lucky it was just skewers! I've seen properly locked bikes with missing deraileurs and brakes! Absolute worst is when they just take your seat, insult to injury...

Happened to me in 10th grade.
Caught the fucker that did it after he tried to Jack my new skewers.
Kicked him in the nuts and locked my bike in PE lockers.

They need to invent talking car alarms for bikes. Just like the kind for cars, once you set it and walk away, if someone move it or touches a voice tell you your too close to the bike, and if it really gets jostled then an alarm goes off.
