Hey guys, i plan on busing to utah in aug and i planned on taking my bike with me, i know i have to have it boxed but i was wondering if anyone knew an average weight of a boxed bike and if it exceeds 62 inches. any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks guys!

 Performance Cycles in Pasadena seems to have bike boxes next to their dumpster every week. I would pad that shit well, though.

62 inches is like 5 feet. I'm pretty sure a bike box isn't bigger than that. A typical box will have dimension similar to 51x7x31. Box would weigh maybe 6 lbs.
