Well, I'm still a newbie too.
I've gone on several rides and the best one by far is Monday Night Rehab. It's the most fun and social ride of them all, it's a great mix of people ages twenty to fifty who are really nice to hang out with. Nicest group so far that I've encountered. The Valley Girls Ride is good too but there are no boys allowed, however men are invited to the rest stop - usually a yogurt place.
The others are really fast and most people don't mix as much at the rest stops. Saturday Night Pizza was 'okay', the group seemed like mostly teens who rode really fast and the group broke up at the pizza place so it was not as social.
The Critical Mass (LA) is a great experience to have, but, again with so many riders and the fast pace it's easy to end up alone at the end of the ride depending on your level of fitness.
Okay, hope this helps! Have fun riding with us!

"The others are really fast and most people don't mix as much at the rest stops."
This is not true AT ALL. The way I got into Midnight Ridazz was through a MESS of rides that weren't that fast and, frankly, at every single ride I have EVER been on, people mix at the rest stops. You mentioned 3 rides, all located in the same place, and I'm curious to know if you have actually tried out any of the rides that the other people have been suggesting to the original poster.
I love MNR like a fat kid loves cake, but all the rides that people have mentioned (Ride W/No Name, etc etc) are FABULOUS rides, not "speed racer" style, and fantastic places to meet new people. What are these "really fast" rides that you are talking about?

saturday night pizza and critical mass arent fast paced..... maybe you're just not as quick as many of the other riders? i dunno, these are considered chill paced rides

What it comes down to is trying a few rides and finding your comfort level. I am still out there trying new rides... there are only a couple that I know I will always enjoy, but that's why I'm trying more new rides. I want to have a ride for every night of the week, so if I want to ride on the spur of the moment, I can do it.

Don Juan....nobody's asked you what type of bike you have (road, mountain, cruiser, etc...) or what type of riding you're looking to get into..so answer those questions and we can steer you in the right direction.
Welcome to Midnight Ridazz..Read the Ridazz Spotlights above to get to put a few names to faces for starters...

WELCOME!!!!
I totally agree with barleye. Not only should you read the spotlight to familiarize yourself with the Ridazz names & faces but read the section where they give advice to new Ridazz. Also there you can see people list their favorite rides :)
Have fun! Good luck and see ya soon! <3
