My trailer tire, ASPLODE!!!!

So, I was hauling a rail-container full of tires back up to Victorville so I could get some exercise and shuteye.

As soon as I get past the Cajon Summit and near the 395 exit, KA-FUCKIN-BOOM!!!!
My left/inner/front tire made a cloud of dust and the Suburban driver on my ass shit his pants!!!

Needless to say, I was still able to deliver, but that shit's scary as all Hell.

Well, these containers and the chassis they're placed on aren't exactly the sharpest tools in the shed.
After suffering the thousands of miles of abuse on the rail-lines, there's also the damage done to them by the errant-behavior of yard-personnel.
Then if that doesn't make matters worse, there are plenty of ignorant drivers out there that try to get as many runs done in a day, yet overlook any problems on any given intermodal unit.

In this case, I made my pre-trip in the yard and all tires, brakes and connections were cherry.
I'm going to guess the blow-out must've occurred due to an expansion of air within the left-front-inner.

That and a change in altitude when climbing from the LA-Basin-to-Inland Empire-to-High Desert.
