from what i understand, they kind of remain anonymous and they're not interested in new members, but rather encourage people to start new burrito projects in different areas.

Yeah, that's about the size of it. They do accept donations and have occasional fundraisers, but because of Health Dept laws it is technically illegal to give food away (go figure), which I think is a big part of the reason for the anonymity.

you didnt hear it from me..
oh and its super fun,i used to meet up with ppl at 107 dtla and then we rode to make the food and eat some ourselves and then deliver then and back to 107 fun nights in DTLA...

i am down to do it..
i used to make food at my place and bike/ride it down to Downtown and give it to homeless along the way..
theres also various soup kitchens you can volunteer at.. they are always looking for more people to help out

i couldn't imagine it being that difficult for two or so people to make burritos put them in a back pack and give them away.
just getting the people and supplies.
checked out food not bombs..little too rebel anarchist for me.
i'm just a hippie that wants to give people food.
and to be honest, i kind of want to eat burritos too.

BP is not a MR ride, do not expect it to be like any of those rides-->
If you want to come out bring lights, a bag, and a lock. Meet at 107 7oclock wed.
Remember your going to be making, wrapping, and distributing burritos in and around skid row. Please come expecting to contribute and you can make a donation. Afterwards we return to the bar where you can get your drink on after the ride.

i actually made way too many black beans last week. they're still good, but im not going to be able to eat them in time. when are you guys doing this next?
