how do you gain/lose points?

are they even going against each other?

it's like DDR but with your bicycle. and this year, the people doing AIDS Lifecycle are going to be putting on a benefit with goldsprints. stay tuned...

how fast you spin aginst a time limit and or total length wich is usually 500 meters.computerized monitors keep the informationon the race.two bikes race on rollers and often head to head eliminations.

are there variations on gold sprints?

like a gold sprint staring contest where stationary riders spin face to face? if you laugh or smile then you would be DQed...

or gold sprints with a the tip of a spoon you mouth and an egg in the spoon. if you drop the egg you would be DQed...

that would be totally rad.
