I'm making plans to ride SFCM this month. Would any one like to come with?

I'm driving up Friday mid-day to arrive at embarcadero at 5.30 and driving back in the wee hours cause I work at 7am on sat. Have room for one more.

 I dunno about this month, but september is the 15 year anniversary of critical mass (which started in SF), I was thinkin we should get a bunch of us to go and represent... road trip!

 I'M GOING TO BE IN S.F. NEXT WEEK AND AM DOING THE CRITICAL MASS THERE....A FEW QUESTIONS I HAVE THAT SOME OF YOU MAY HAVE ANSWERS TO:

DOES IT STAY MOSTLY ON FLAT GROUND AROUND THE PIERS AND SOMA? THIS DEPENDS IF I GO FIXED (PREFERRED) OR GEARED.

HOW MANY PEOPLE RIDE IN THE S.F.C.M. ON THE AVERAGE?

ANY OF YOU GONNA BE IN SF NEXT WEEK AS WELL?

 i'll be there on friday - but i think i'm workin.

Fixed is not a problem. They don't USUALLY go up giant hills, although they did do lombart last year.

when i was there, there are so many people that you really can't get a good number. The ride splits into like 4 different rides and they intermingle. Its a way to get rid of po po. DO NOT FUCK WITH THEM.

Every time i've been there, i've seen bikers a) hit by cars and b) knocked down by police

 Yea that was great I hit SFCM 3 times in a row, the 3rd was the 15th anniversary... Richie & I saw some crazy shit... That cop on the motorcycle rammed a cyclist with his motorcycle. Twice, knoking him down. Cop finally got off & chest butted the cyclist.
In SF stay off the sidewalks & aviod the cops.
