ebikestop.com is pretty awesome
performancebike.com (or their actual stores in the area) has a decent selection of seats.
Any of the bike collectives (bikerowave, bike kitchen, bike oven) should have some used seats pretty cheap.
LAB has some seats in a wide variety of metallic colors for $60 if you're going for something really festive.

LBS should be first try, just to be nice, but I don't consider conglomerates like schmerformance to be local. Helen's on Broadway in SM is cool so far but ridiculously limited when it comes to things like chainrings for instance. Alot of people I talk to don't like them either so to each his or her own I guess. My uberlist:

many of the hills in la are not steep enough to really feel the full effect of the weight difference. i notice the biggest difference 4%+
and wylie, you should see some of the titanium disasters. they're just as bad and some worse. i'd rather be stabbed by fibers than razor sharp metal when i crash
