More ride reports

Just a suggestion here: Seems it would be cool if more ridazz posted RECAPs of rides. Just short, one paragraph highlights, lowlights, etc. Since so many rides are going on all over the place, lots of of us can't hit them all but might be curious how they went down.
For example, the photos posted from the recent Sins & Sprockets has me wondering what went down with all the cops. Must have been real serious if they called in the Segway reinforcement.
I see there's a RECAP of the discordian ride. That's what I'm talking about.

good idea. i always thought of doing a "i just got home from a ride" thread. so people can post up a recap of the ride.

Those SnS photos are from the time we all went through downtown long beach.
Turns out the LBPD had big incident with LBCM just a few days before SnS. They followed the ride from the very beginning and started calling riders out for tiny infractions. Some kid on a fixie wasn't having it and ran from one of the cops.
Next thing we see is a police chopper and about ten police cars chasing this guy around DTLB.
Thats when they pulled the entire ride over and issued everyone bike light tickets.. also they forcibly placed Nathan Snider on the curb with some sort of arm twisitng magic.
As soon as we left Downtown long beach and crossed into the ghetto none of the cops gave a shit what we did.
