Was drivin on sunset today, just east of alvarado and noticed some guys selling a bunch of road bikes out the back of a pick-up. Anyone know what's up with them? I'm all for entrepreneurship, but sometimes I just get kinda iffy about those set-ups. I bought my bikes off of craigslist, and I met a guy who bought bikes in bulk from police auctions for dirt cheap then sold them after fixing them up, but the majority of those bulk buys were department store bikes and lower end mountain bikes. Used road bikes are hard to come by nowadays, and it seemed like these fellas on sunset had an awful lot not to have an actual shop. Saw some posts regarding stolen bikes, so just thought it might be related.

 I think others on this site have mentioned that they're good people. I'm not entirely sure if we were talking about the same people though.

 yeah, they were out there about 530ish yesterday. first time i've seen them. my buddies have been looking for used road bikes, so i'll tell them to check it out.
