A Glenn County California sheriff chased a bicyclist who had improper lights on his bike. The sheriff decided to use a Tazer. Read the story....

Drunk, fake id, improper lights (odds are none). Whoops. Why abandon the bike if the cop is on foot? Ride faster!
Can someone explain suspicion of resisting arrest? Isn't that kinda a yes/no thing?

Just cuz you hear bike in a story, doesn't automactically make the rider creditable.

1. He was never even shocked.
2. He was a dumbass and ran from popo. If you're gonna run, make sure you can outrun them. Or you're fucked.
3. He ran from the police.

better to just wait for the cop, and if he's alone, kick his ass, then you have a better chance of getting away. (be sure to knock him out, after all he's just human, like us, believe or not.)

He should have just stopped and taken the ticket, then gone to court.
Some people feel the cops or courts won't give them a fair shake...so they run.

basically this is about how people with out papers will risk a resisting arrest charge rather than talk to the police and risk getting deported.
The guy was supposedly getting pulled over for lights.
But really we all know he was being pulled for "RWB" or more accurately:
riding while looking like an undocumented immigrant.
