For Sale:
53 cm 2008 De Bernardi Zonal
Color: Blue
Aluminum frame with matching steel fork.
Miche Primato cranks
Miche Supurbe 58 t chainring
Miche Supurbe bottom bracket
Miche Supurbe seatpost
Nitto Jaguar stem
Nitto track drops
Wheelset:
LeVel hubs laced to silver Velocity Deep V's 15t cog.
This bike was built to my specs by Orange20 bikes in Los Angeles Ca. The wheels are hand laced by the shop.
This bike has maybe 500 miles on it at the most, and has been in storage for most of the time I have owned it.
This bike is too nice for me and just doesn't get ridden as much as it should.
The paint and bar tape have some small scratches/abrasions from storage (things getting rubbed against the bike).
This bike is beautiful. It weighs in at about 17 lbs.
Saddle and pedals not included.
$1900

so what makes you think you can sell a $1300 retail bike from '08 and sell for +600 in 2010?

umm, I think you forgot to add in the price of the wheelset. 1300 is the price of everything you listed MINUS the wheels.
Seriously iJunes.
the bike retailed for close to 2400.
I know what I paid for it, I know what it's worth now.

k sorry, 300 for the wheelset., you should also post this on fixedgearfever because they're more likely to have cash sums of greater than 1k lying around for another bike nobody needs. (not your bike specifically)
my big problem with used track bikes are often sold at a markup and depreciation is never accounted for. somehow the combination of an NJS bar and stem makes both items 1.5x pricier. Whatever happened to the days when you drove a car off the lot and it only retained its wholesale value?

I don't know where you're getting 300 for the wheelset, the hubs alone, as a set retail for a little over 400.I'm depreciating the value of what I bought the bike for by nearly 500 dollars, the bike has at MOST 500 miles on it and is in great shape.
I know what bikes are worth, I've been doing this for a long time.

do you pricematch at 240 shipped on ebay?
s'ok , haters gon hate and you'll take what you want for your bike.
500miles 2000miles, to me its all one too many miles to pay retail. i mean 2800 dollar wheelsets sell for 1500 after 30 miles of use and being mounted once. i actually semi-mediated a sale of this scale just this past week. there are demo bikes that pull in 3700 retail and even those will sell close to 60-70% of retail
but good luck selling that thing. what i say here probably doesnt matter much because whoever wants to spend that much money will do whatever the fuck they want, and a good chunk of the people here don't have that kind of money.
i'm still just shocked that you can actually sell a used bike for 1900.
people if this bike is in your flavor and your price range, by all means, proceed.
