Least risky commuting time

Where you live, is there a certain part of the day where commuting to wherever is less drama packed?
For me, it always seems to be the early AM hours on any given day.
Despite the main road being thick with 4wheelers trying to get to the 15, many of these commuters seem older(35 and up), more mature, and would much rather get to work in one piece.
Even on this hilly portion of Bear Valley rd approaching a narrow OC going over the train tracks, most drivers will either carefully go by me, or even roll behind me until it's safe for them to use the #2 to pass, no bird flipping or anything of that nature.
Now, 3pm to 10pm, that's where the overly aggressive, 16-29 demographic go all vampiric in their chariots of aftermarket lunacy!!
Stay home, find a different route, or sleeves up.

I should also mention that all day Sunday is a clean commuting day.
Everyone is either still stuck in Vega$, swimmin in Havasu, or hung over from the Shatterday binge sesh.

There are many cultural differences between desert folk, suburbanites and city slickers: but the increased tendency drive like a rude asshole during the afternoon rush hour is a nearly universal phenomenon.
Basically, most people hate their jobs the drive home is a barrier between work and rest so the tendency for them to be be grumpy and impatient is greatly multiplied.

Getting education they don't want, for a job they'll probably hate, in order to impress people they don't like.
As I said though, since most of the population usually commutes up and down the Cajon Pass to various points in the IE and LA Basin, they're usually too tired to create much of raucous.
Now the local population that either drives to workplaces up here, or unemployed/welfare and just aimlessly wander in their jalopies, they simply seem to get pissed of for someone disrupting their flow.
Thankfully, I'm not the only one they've directed anger at.
There's already been too many accounts of them tailgating a 45' double, bottom dump and then becoming part of the dumps bumper.
