I haz a question for you... In my quest to perfect my recipes into vegan friendly choices, I was thinking of substituting the heavy whipping cream in my tomato soup recipe by blending tofu and adding it as cream. The only problem I can see arising from that is the fact that it might curdle. I googled it but I can't seem to find anything about regarding the consistency after blending and heating. And since I'm poor and dont wanna waste food, I figured I'd come on here and ask and see if anyone here has experience with this.... thnx gaise!

I trained as a vegan raw chef for a while, it sounds like you could use cashew "cheese" it's the same consistency of cream, just don't overheat it in the soup, stir it in at the very end just like you would whipping cream.
2 cups raw organic cashews soaked for two hours in purified water.
1 or more cup purified.
Place soaked and drained cashews in blender and slowly add water til desired consistency is achieved.

I'm poor and am using things I already have in my fridge/cupboard. unfortunately cashews are not one of them!
which goes back to my original question (to all t hose who dont wanna read my original post i'ma be annoying and bold it)
Will blended tofu curdle if heated and added to another thinner liquid?
Also, keep in mind i'm not baking. I'm using the stove top.

Isn't tofu basically soy curd to begin with?
(I'm not a vegan chef by any means,

NATE SAVES THE DAY!
i dunno why i didnt think of googling that. instead i googled the different property stages of tofu... not in exactly those words. but yes by searching that i found out that a tofu block is made by curdling. I just wanted to see what would happen if you tried to reverse it by liquefying and adding some h2o. sounds more like a science experiment, but that shall be saved for another day...when i'm not so hungry.
