My Stolen Bike

Hey Midnight Ridazz, My bike was stolen this morning from the Bally's gym on Bundy, and I'm putting the word out to everyone to keep an eye out for me. I was planning on riding it in ALC9 next week, so I'm a bit stressed. It is an all-carbon Tommaso Aggraziato road bike, black-ish with silver seat and handlebar tape. Hardly anyone rides a Tommaso in LA, so if you see one, its probably mine. Thanks for the help. Jeff (inkedinla@hotmail.com)

Sorry for your loss.
For those of us who want to know how to keep our bicycles safe, would you please tell us how your bicycle was secured? What type of lock, inside/outside, lots of foot traffic/hidden?
Thanks!

Have you ever thought of trying to report those guys to the cops? The ones in Venice I mean, you know who they are, it'd be pretty easy to set them up....

Details (from email correspondence):
it was a kryptonite cable lock in the bike rack in front of the gym. anyone going into the gym would have walked by it. apparently the bike thefts aren't just in downtown, sm pd has a blurb on their website about the increase in bike thefts in santa monica. while there were other bikes on the rack, mine was the only carbon one, which i was riding for the purpose of getting used to it, otherwise i dont know that i would have kept using it as my commuter.
