Be a part of LA transportation history.
Next week LACBC is conducting a test pilot for the sharrows program to measure how cars react to cyclists on the road.
I'm so psyched about this that I have agreed to go to the test in my neighborhood thats gonna be at 6:30 AM!!!!
They aren't all at 6:30 though. I'm also doing an afternoon test at 3:30.
Anybody else in?
Personally I'm pretty psyched to be one of the first people to ride a sharrowed road in LA
I think sharrows are the future of bike infrastructure in L.A. because all they require is putting some paint down on existing roads and will INSTANTLY improve road conditions for us.
hooray!

Wow! I can't wait. WE NEED to blow this thing up!
If we can spread the word via facebook and get the numbers up
like we do for a lot of these rides then they we certainly take notice! Thanks
for the heads up!!!!!!

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact sharrows@la-bike.org.
Participants will be asked to sign a waiver, they must wear a helmet and have at least one brake on their bike. :) LACBC will be providing computers.
We only need 4-6 people per location. All additional folks will unfortunately not be part of the data collection,
This is not a ride! The ride will happen once we see PAINT!!

bringing sharrows to Los Angeles looks like it will finally happen.... the LACBC has been lobbying for this for YEARS.
there should be sharrows in every right most thru lane on every street!
