Tomorrow is
Bike To Work Day
There are numerous pit stops around the LA area where they will be giving out free bike stuff like patch kits and things. There is also a list of ten subways that will be giving out free breakfast and coffee to people on bikes. Plus all the trains are free for anyone on a bike. check out the list of stops

I hit four spots in Pasadena including Subway for free breakfast and coffee. Got a free bike tune up, about 15 patch kits, first aid kit, a cheap cable lock and a shit load of power bars and energy drinks. I love free stuff.

yeah. I feel so ashamed. But I got a 21 mile each way commute. I know excuses.
My goal was to ride at least twice a week and that has been fail. I'll make up for it tomorrow. Pictures to prove it. And I'm gonna get some of those "fail bars" too.

my commute is only 2 miles. Funny, I drive to the trail head most every morning to do the dirt, I've been thinking that I should ride there instead.

how you like it, dont worry... not hating... all i was suggesting was that --- if THAT bike is comfortable, then you're missing out (comfort wise)... because, ahem.. there are more comfortable ways to ride.
Something wrong with your bike? Nope; unless it's not being ridden.

I'll have to say, I have no idea what you're trying to explain.
Was the Caad frame worse on your ass than your current bike?

it's like you have many different things you want to make clear... breath, breath....
1. Caad was WAY better, got it.
2. Riding the Caad frame was funny, got it.
3. You lost a rock, a piece of paper and a scissor in order to ride the bike for a day, got it.
4. So having what you consider to be a WAY better bike in your possession for A DAY -- you decided to skip on taking advantage of your loss of rocks and paper by thrashing around town for the day, and instead rode the bike around your block???
Got it.
