From Bikesnob:
It would appear that, increasingly, fixed-gear bicycles are the vehicles of choice for "slaying" missionary work. This is hardly surprising, because once anything becomes becomes big enough somebody creates a Christian version, just like once a soft drink gets popular enough the manufacturers inevitably offer it in "diet." What is surprising, though, is that the Mormons are taking to fixed-gears. If anything, I would think the single gear ratio would be at odds with their polygamist lifestyle, and that they'd instead be drawn to derailleur drivetrains.

it kinda makes sense. They're always on pavement lugging aroung on heavy ass mtb's. Maybe this is a much welcomed change of pace. I wonder why they haven't cougt on to road bikes sooner.

Obviously youve never lived in the state of utah and had those mother fuckers knocking on your door daily, trying to force their religion instead of asking questions! Mormons FTL not FTW.. Im sure anyone would agree that a knock on your door at 7am isnt FTW when your trying to sleep in!

I actually found out that the missionary training center is over in Idaho some place.
As far as the missionaries I encountered, they pretty much went away when they saw my goatee and the Malaysian flag hanging on the wall with the US flag.
Apparently, the Crescent-Moon and Star are good at keeping certain solicitors away.
And then sending them on their way with a healthy dose of "As-Salāmu `Alaykum (السلام عليكم)!!!"

Seems you have proven yourself to be a total hypocrite calling others haters,
when in fact you post your own hait statements and attempt to make fun of others
for their beliefs or handicaps. Perceiving yourself as cute or witty by attacking
someone for their religious beliefs or making fun of mentally challenged people is weak
On Judgement Day grabing your ankles and giving a blow job won't save you.

H818, you got all that from "the world is going to end" ?
That sounds more like a scriptural quotation than haterisim.
And where'd you get the the notion that anybody would attempt to give (jesus?) a blowjob as a last minute chance at spiritual redemption. It might be time for you take a break from watching prison films home boy.
......
For my part , as absurd as I find all dogmatic religions, don't have any hate for my religious people. Sure I love to indulge in finding humor in the more harmless of their ridiculous moments.
Not that I'm not down with Jesus. He was pretty fucking awesome.
He would have been down with MR too. He was all about love revolutions.
As far as Foldie insulting you for being mentally challenged.
That is something i can not abide by.
....
Foldie, I recommend taking a break from reading that cynical fuck who writes the bike snob. You've been so coarsened by his harsh rhetoric it has clearly led you to insensitively insulting our fellow ridazz based their diminished mental facilities, and that 's just not cool.
Forgive the indulgence bretheren, I will now relinquish my time at the lectern.

If I buy a bike from them for $300, can I use it as a tax write-off since it's going to a religous/non-profit org? Double Win if i can.

Trick:
Hate one Hate is always trolling my posts. He doesn't like me and that is fine. I do post some offensive material in jest and sometime you can't take life too seriously.
If you search for h818 post's you will see some disturbing words too.
Taking the high road on this.

If I did more research on who christcycles.com is before I buy a bike from them, then my sense of suspicion marginalizes before I buy it from them.

The "high road" is letting bike snob's blogs rot peacefully on the east coast where they belong ... that kind of cyncisim just smells rotten on the sunny west coast... maybe the trash heaps of the jersey shore have a chemical reaction with B.S. that makes it smell better over there.
and Don't take h818's rantings to seriously, i looked over a volouminuos list of topics and the only things NOT on his hate list, are Teabagging Minutemen, Zeitgeist the Mini Series, and Poetry for Children by Glenn Beck...
