STREETS THAT LINK THE VALLEY AND LA

im wondering if anyone knows of any streets that link SFV and LA/ west hollywood area....
i know that if you take Beverly coming from Fairfax and make a right on Crescent Hights it becomes Laurel Canyon which takes you straight to north hollywood.....
im trying to avoid taking the red line to get to LA from the valley....

Laurel Canyon, Coldwater Canyon, Cahuenga, and Beverly Glen are the canyons in that immediate area. Further west is Sepulveda, which is my personal favorite, and further east is cahuenga, Crystal Springs, and the 5 bike path.

franklin canyon is the easiest way up with 1 really steep section for about 300 feet

...and I totally said Cahuenga twice. That was totally intentional, because... because it's a main thoroughfare! And therefore significant! Yeah, let's go with that.

thats not bad....
i like sepulveda better than any other but its still kinda far from my destination...
i think beverly glen is good when your heading from LA to the valley cuz its mostly downhill...

no it isn't beverly glen is steeper than sepulveda and only a half a mile shorter.
cahuenga is by far the easiest way to get into the valley IF you know how to ride WITH traffic. cahuenga is one of those climbs best done off the saddle as fast as you can. shouldn't take more than 3-4 minutes to get to the top.
sepulveda has the steadiest grade from either side up, and especially from the valley side, its longer than the other roads and starts a few feet higher than studio city, so the average grade is significantly less.

LOL@3-4 minutes to get to the top....where do you come up with this stuff? Not only are you a bonafide shit talker but you're also a comedian. By the way, still waiting for you to ride Wolfpack, Dark century, double century, Hell i'm just waiting for you to do at least something you said you were going to do, including win a race.

it definitely feels like 5 min to get up cahuenga, thats how long it took last night at wolfpack
