I want you all to sit down somewhere and focus. Now, riddle me dis; am I the only black dyke out here rollin a fixie? Have my people caught on to the thrill or am I solo in the pleasure . Now, I don't usually look for pleasure in groups, if you know what I mean, however, it would be nice to build a group of Lesbians, and Gays too; that can enjoy some of this fresh California ( Central LA to get specific ) nighttime air with, and maybe flex some prop.215 freedom with. So yea, if this isn't you, umm, why aRe you still reading ? LOL jp curious folk invited too. Made it this far, then text a nigga dayum let's hit tha streetz ! (21tree) 8fo'2- 8122.

there are lesbians out there, but they're hiding.
i remember seeing a gay bar-hopping ride a while ago. you should start another one and promote it on the forum.

The rides are full of lesbians...
It's just that they're all trapped in male bodies. :)

I think this is a great idea, it's hard to find other bi/lesbian chicks.. for me at least.

Hmm, I hate labels, but I guess I would fall under the Bi category. I think both male and female bodies are amazing, but it is what's inside that counts for me ;)

this is some late night w4w shit. i like it. post a ride. i'll support your agenda, :)
there are lesbians on the rides. more on bigger rides. as you can see there is a shortage of girls on most rides anyways. I've been told many times how rare it is for a girl to ride fixed. So finding a girl who like girls rolling fixed is like finding an unopen can of tecate at the end of a ride. Close to IMPOSSIBLE!

There has been a shortage of GLBT in the bike scene for a long time. At least a visible presence.
There have been several rides of this sort of theme over the years, most either didn't pan out very well, i.e. not much attendance, lack of commitment from the ride leader(s), or just plain fizzled out over time.
There are and have been GLBT people on the rides, at least a couple, but either they hide it well, don't ride very often, or don't ride any more. The list I can come up with is mostly the last category, with a small number in the second one, and it's not a long list to begin with.

For the 21 and overs (or the underage with fake ids), since LACM is this Friday and it usually ends pretty early on Western and Sunset, I was going to hit a club afterward. There is a mainly lesbian night at H.Wood on Orange just north of Hollywood. No cover before 10:30. No dress code, thank goodness most lesbians like to dress comfy :)
I've definitely rode my bike to this club before and there's a bike rack right by the valet stand so our shit won't get stolen. We can get our dance on for a bit and then ride to WeHo to the Abbey or somewhere with no cover and a dance floor.

Yea, God made both forms to be beautiful . I can understand the desire to avoid labels, but you must admit it makes life less complicated to categorize. :)
Hope to see you on a ride.

Yea, I can imagine the scarcity of the w4w, although I would imagine the type of women into bikes might be dykes lol. Ahh, when stereotypes fail.

LOL ! Este guey. Appreciate the knowledge and I'm down for the tripp. Never heard of the club you mentioned but as long as there's liquor...let's roll. In fact I'm new to the whole thing, I just got my baby a month ago and am tryin to learn the ins and outs of the whole fixie scene. That's the only reason I haven't posted a ride yet. All advice is welcome.

Crespin and I have been an 'out' gay couple in the biking community for years now. We still go on rides, although not as many. We'd love to be included in any rides that you plan.

I'm still doing my normal wednesday ride (the passage), but if any ridazz want to meet up after work-ish (6:30?) in Hollywood and ride down SMB and then back towards Silver Lake in celebration of today's ruling, that'd be awesome.
