Abandon Bikes in Denmark

I am sure they have bike theft issues, but they also have abandon bike issues. Police have to clear out abandon bikes.

when i was in japan I saw trucks like this clearing out illegally parked bikes.
its pretty easy there as most people either use a simple push button back wheel lock or at most a cheap cable. Bike theft is a non-issue.

I've often wondered about the countless bikes I've seen rotting away at college bike racks.
Spider webs, sun-rot, flat-tires, just that general look of "no one giving two fucks about them" anymore.
