FYI-
A couple weeks ago there was a gay-bashing in front of the Gay and Lesbian Center on Schrader.
That's right, a couple WEEKS ago. 2007.
Even last night, I was aggressively verbally assaulted by a straight male bouncer at the ABBEY, a very gay and supposedly SAFE place in WeHo.
I was able to speak to the manager and the police about it, because this guy basically lost his shit in front of all his co-workers, calling me a "f*in bitch" and requesting that I suck his "large c*ck"...
it was super gross actually.
a stern reminder about the ongoing importance to fight for equality and understanding for the gay and lesbian community.
