Bottom Bracket still loose

I keep having the same problem with my bottom bracket, it's keeps getting loose I tighten it up but every two days their I go like clockwork having to tighten it back up.........can anyone help, do I need to replace it maybe service ? Please someone point me to the right direction......I have an 86 Bianchi Strada LX and to my knowledge still the stock bottom brakcet.......If I have to change it please recommend cheap but good brands since most of my funds go to my investments in Herbal relaxation.........

I had the same problem 2 weeks ago -- go to Bikerowave, here is the website:

a friend told me about this place and it is srsly "Disney World" for cyclists! Everyone is awesome and willing to help and teach. It's $7 an hour or add a little more as a donation, or just donate your time. I suggest getting there early. The mechanics will guide you as you rebuild your bottom bracket and in the end you will feel even better knowing you fixed it yourself!
It's been two weeks and I have put 200+ miles on.. bottom bracket still going!

make sure your bottom bracket has a lockring on the adjustable side.

Thanks guys, mosty defenitely I will hit up the Bike Oven heard a lot of good stuff about them, and yeah I do have a lokring on the adjustable side,

FUCK THAT, SPEND ABOUT 20-25 BUCKS FOR A "SEALED" BOTTOM BRACKET, IT WILL BE WORTH IT, "SEALED" MEANS NO ADJUSTMENT NEEDED, HENCE IT CAN NOT GO OUT OF ALIGNMENT, GET LOSE, OR BE A PAIN IN THE ASS.

THAT IS A BOTTOM BRACKET, HOWEVER, YOU NEED TO BE AWARE THAT THE ENDS (SPINDLE) ARE MACHINED TO ACCEPT DIFFERENT TYPE OF CRANK ARMS, BEWARE.
ALL OF MY BIKES HAVE SEALED BOTTOM BRACKETS, GRANTED I HAD TO LOCATE WERE TO BUY EACH ONE, BUT THERE IS A GUY THAT WILL SELL IT TO YOU, INSTALL IT, AND SEND YOU ON YOUR MERRY WAY, HAPPY AND CONFIDENT THAT YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH THAT SHIT FOR A LONG TIME, ALL FOR THE UNHEARD OF PRICE OF 25 DOLLARS, OR YOU CAN KEEP ADJUSTING EVERY FEW DAYZ, ALSO,THE BOTTOM BRACKET YOU NOW HAVE IS MADE UP OF SEVERAL PARTS, THERE ARE PARTS THAT REQUIRE LUBE, OTHER THAT DON'T, WHERE YOUR BOTTOM BRACKET PARTS SCREW IN TO THE FRAME (INSIDE DIAMETER THREADS) AT BOTH SIDES NEED TO BE FREE OF LUBRICANTS, OIL, AND SEMEN.

Okay so I was on my way home from school and while I was at the light track standing,I felt my crank move foward,my bike didn't move foward at all but my crank,it had like this slipping feeling, im not sure if this is an problem with my bottom bracket whether it needs replacing or not,and yes I tightend down my cranks too.

Did you try tightening your chain?
From your description it sounds like your chain has some slack in it.

did you tighten the lock ring on the hub? Could be loose, check it out or it may cost a lot to fix.
