Attempted Battery filed @ LAPD

my buddy and I both got run off Mulholland into the dirt shoulder last night by some dick in a lifted, black F-250. First one of us, then the other. Separate incidents, with my friend witnessing him running me off. He slowed down to pace us, then slowly forced us off the road, then flipped us off. Westbound Mulholland @ Laurel Cyn ~7pm.
we chased him and got a license plate number. CA vanity plate "XL001"
an Attempted Battery report was filed last night at NoHo PD. We have 2 victims/witnesses and its being turned over to a detective. If nothing comes of it, then I get "creative" with my other LAPD contacts. ;)
Feel free to take a lane if you see this asshole. Careful.
thanks to Roadblock for the advice.

you'd think that, but ive had cops look me in the eye and tell me that there was no crime committed.
i really believe that's changing, so IF YOU AREN'T TAKEN SERIOUSLY BY YOUR LOCAL LAPD, you can post it up here and get in touch with Sgt. David Krumer.
you can find his contact info on the thread titled "THANK YOU LAPD"

Good luck. Hope that guy gets whats coming to him!
And yeah, it might be worth it to let Sgt. Krumer know about your report. Make it hard for them to sweep it under the rug.

Sounds like there should be a call to muster by the Studio City Malitia
when you find this fool........

Unfortunately there may be a limit to what LAPD can do under the current law.
Especially if there are no injuries or property damage.
If nobody can identify the face of the driver in a line up this will complicate things further.
I recommend contacting Officer David Krumer at:
35128@lapd.lacity.org
to make sure this is properly handled.

Please don't forget to follow up on this case. Call and find out which detective was assigned to the case, and then call that detective to find out the status of the investigation.
Be polite but firm.
Leave a voicemail for the detective if they're not available.
