On THURSDAY, Sept. 9 2010 we're having former District Attorney Gil Garcetti give a talk about his latest book of photographs from Paris.
FREE FOOD. FREE ENTRY. FREE WINE.
Gil's book will be on sale for $40 even (no tax and five bucks below retail)

Free booze is nice but it is more about supporting the best little bike shop in town who happens to have
one of these in the shop.

So dope. I really like the feeling of having so much in common with someone from another generation and direction in life, meeting with a shared idea, and feeling energized by each other's efforts.

Although Garcetti is a former politician, he is a champion of improving cycling in LA. He was talking about a Bike share program last night, and I would much rather have a well connected former politician on the side of better biking in LA than not.

ya i know what you mean homie pero like sub marcos says " we want a world where many world fit" that being said ya he supported bicyclists (for the votes) but he denied affordable housing and autonomous farming(south central farmers)...you got to watcha where the dots connect the whole system is a failure from the politician to the cop its all a front anygueys im just saying
