BASTA -City of Bell - advice

Hello Fellow MRs
I remembered the memorable rides like "noches de los muertos I, II and III" , toy rides, etc and I figured I can ask the MR crew on this matter:
I am a member of BASTA, which is the organization that was born out of the whole mess in my city where I live , that is City of Bell
www.basta4bell.com
the point I am here is that BASTA needs to raise funds to help us get through the RECALL process we have in place, and since this forum is full of very creative/talented people I am asking not only for your support to our cause but also for some ideas on how to raise $$$ pronto
BASTA is not affiliate with any political party, we are a group of residents that want transparency and accountability from our elected officials, and the way I see it that transcends party lines .
Again sorry if this is too political, and ride on MR's

;-)) we even planned to put a Che Guevara flag ontop of city hall and call it a revolution ..
the whole recall process based on our city size, the budget has been calculated for a 6-7 months campaign around $150k , and keep in mind that the county will cover the extra money to run the election
it is a bit expensive this thing RECALL, but the city council thieves will want to give us a run for our money that we do not have, we even pay more taxes than any city on Los angeles, property taxes that is

Set up a paypal account to receive donations.
Set up a google doc for accounting if you want to make your accounting transparent.
One of the greatest tings you have going for you is that you probabaly have a lot of passion amongst your fellow citizens.
It costs millions to do a ballot initive when they are paying signature gatherers 50¢ a piece for signatures and buying airtime on network TV.
But you should have lots of people who would be down to go to the super market once a week for a few hours and ask people "do you want to recall the criminals in office? Sign here ...."
Your expenses yto do this should be very little.
If you made some nifty tees shits you could sell them to raise a little money AND get ur message out.
Recall those bums.

Brown Act all up in this bitch. Our ceremonial two minutes of "free speech" gets what it deserves.
Next time I'm bringing my uke and I'm singing my comments into the mic.

Rizzo the Rat was once the city manager of Hesperia before he got chased out of here and down to there.
However, he still gets his severance thanks to dwindling taxpayer funds.
