I started this project 4 months ago but drugs sidelined my dreams.... then at the June FMLY Ride I saw a girl on a similar tall bike having a blast... that's when I decided I can still be high without the drugs! So I wanna thank you guys for all the tall bike advice you guys gave me!!!

Congrats, do not hit a pothole...ever... please. It'll probably be fine as long as you don't gain any weight AND it was welded well.

Dude,
I'm always glad to see another tall bike on the road. Especially one that looks uniquely different. But that thing looks scary! I hope it holds up for you. A face plant from that height wouldn't be pretty.

The more I look at this, the more I have visions of you impaling yourself into broken tubing. I hope those welds are sturdy.
Also, your seat tube angle is... way off. Your wrists are gonna be killing you if you ever take that thing further than a few blocks.
Anyway, how does it ride? Got any more pics? Are you planning on bringing it to a ride soon?

falling off a tallbike isnt that bad. i think i fell off mine last night, that would explain all the blood on my knee this morning.
louise hit some tracks downtown after RWNN and got a rad cut on her face, so just think about all the cool scars youre going to accumulate with it.
glad to see another freak bike on the road
now you gotta come up with witty things to say to people when they pester you with questions.

Hey nice job! Glad to see my ride inspired you! We should ride along side each other sometime! I just gave mine a new paint job but I don't have any recent photos of it so this pic is how you prob. saw it. My goal is to build another one before CRANKMAS! Tall bike fever sweeping LA!

Advice coming from the guy who welded aluminum & steel together with a MIG welder. Awesome. I heard that bike lasted a whole 5 minutes.
Not saying that you should go hitting potholes though

The fact that we haven't heard back from the OP makes me wonder if he's in the hospital recovering from a fork-ectomy.

just trying to finish some welding and adding some breaks.....
PS im still alive.... but my friend wasn't too lucky
he tried jumping onto the tall bike and in the process he fell off it and caught his junk on the sprocket which lead to a trip to the ER and 13 stitches....
but he's in good spirits. He says once he recovers he's going to give the tall bike another shot!
