I just booked my hotel and flight to D.C. for the
March To Keep Fear Alive and am over brimming with stokage. Then I thought, what best way to spread the cause of fear amongst our fellow Americans then on bikes around the National Mall!
Ride is posted
here
More details to folllow...
If other ridazz are interested, I might consider accepting liked minded fearmongers to crash at my hotel.

****UPDATED!!!****
WHERE: Washington Circle Park near the statue of George Washington
MEET: 8P
RIDE: 9P
TILL: Freedom Rings
PANIC!!! DC gets overrun by Heroes of Fright on their steel steeds of pedaling fury! Georgetown, Foggy Bottom, and the National Mall disoriented by a wave of blinkies, disconcerted by the whirl of wheels, and unnerved by masked and costumed patriots! The loosening bowels of the West End agitated by fright!
We ride slow to let the FEAR sink in.
We ride safe because we are FRIGHTENED cyclists.
We leave no cyclist behind because we are SCARIER in numbers.
We have FUN because having too much causes ANXIETY.
We leave no trace so the GOVERNMENT can't find us.
We scare for AMERICA!

***ROUTE HAS SLIGHTLY CHANGED***
Now with 25% more things to be afraid of!
(i.e., old men and women in long black robes shooing us off their marble "front lawn" and, for the witches attending, water fountains)
DISCLAIMER: We will be going around and not thru said water fountains.
NEW ROUTE:

15 people are coming already, who hasn't seen DC yet? This is a great opportunity, AND I'll drive you around on my pedicab.

More monumental fear added to route! We will be visiting the tomb of zombie Jefferson as well as zombie Lincoln!
Check out the route
There will be a brief stop at the Washington Monument (~10min) where we'll marvel at the gigantic stake commemorating George Washington; general, founding founder, vampire slayer.
Georgetown and Georgetown U. will be a little of a climb. We'll be making a very short stop (~5 min) just as we leave Georgetown U. to regroup and catch a breath.
It will be a relatively clear night but in the low 40's. Dress warm, wear layers (like a costume).
On major thoroughfares like Pennsylvania Ave. we'll take the whole rightmost street lane. It is much safer that way.
The ride will end where it starts.
A few other things to mention:
Stay right
Hold your line
Costumes are highly encouraged
Have fun
