i think this will be my first S.P.A.R that i will be missing out on.me and my band good charlotte is playing tonite in h.b.keep it drunk motherfuckers.by the way the armadillos came in a strong 8th place last nite at the relay race.be sure to congratulate josef and nelson for a job well done.

Daaaaamn! That was a big ride!

I never imagined that we'd get 60 people to tour NELA on bikes. Thanks to everyone who showed up and made the night fun.

Billy showed up with a posse - and led the ride most of the night. Crazy Eddie came through with the sound system bumping Mexicanos Know How to Party. RuthAnne provided the route and the intel. on galleries that were popping, and which ones to avoid. Bikeboom Lars was on tall-boy drinking sweeper patrol. And the two ladies who baked cakes in my kitchen and BBQ'd the food - wow. Super hot. Thanks for helping out.

It's like an army of volunteers who just want to have fun and enjoy their city. Amazing. Every month my faith in humanity is restored after these rides.

Spiral - thanks for posting the photos (again), I think those pics help bringing people out to see what NELA has to offer.

Oh, and thank you to Foster Farms, for killing those poor chickens we threw (frozen) for the chance to win a stupid big stuffed teddy bear.
