I'm moving my moving day to school by one day just so I can make this ride. I wanna make sure coming back next summer, my Thursdays will be occupied with this ride!!

me and my friends have tried to make rides in hp (were from there) and it's good to see someone else try to get some done... and although ours wasn't such a successes (twice!), i hope the best to this ride!! count me in!
however, i was wondering if it be too much to make it a bit later...
DeKadenzy gets off at six, i think he like this too, right?
plus i've noticed more people come by the later it is...
also, do you have a route in mind... many of the roads here kinda suck, and i'm not so sure but last time i checked, the ones by the park aren't that great!

Well, if for some stupid reason they haven't sent me home and don't have any local work for me either, I'll make this ride too.
Since I'm officially not a resident of any of the specific, MR-regions in this sector, I'm proud to represent all the floaters on the scene!!!!

The time has been pushed back sliiiightly, from meeting at 6 to leaving around 7.
And yes, I agree the roads kinda suck. But I planned on:
E on Nadeau, S Alameda, E Firestone, S Long Beach, E Tweedy, Stop at the Supermarket, Continue East on Tweedy, N Atlantic, Another possible stop at 711, continue N to W on Slauson, S on Compton, then E to Florence to the park again.
I rode this by myself last Thursday (Except I went West on Florence instead of Slauson because I had to go home early), And It seems okay. But it was earlier in the day so I dunno. Anyway, If you have any other ideas that are better, I'd be more than happy to hear them, I could use help form others that know the area well.

sounds good... just to let you know i got the route, i'll take a look at it or see if i can ride around it. if i come up with any suggestions i'll let you know!

We went to South Gate, up to Cudahy, The Staples Center, Tacos Mexico and back. There were eight of us.

@borfo, yes. I was hoping it'd be either weekly or bi-weekly.
It just depends on if my sister will let me. She didn't seem to have a problem with me being accompanied home, so if someone could ride with me after the rides, it is more than probable.

I didn't mind riding you home and I'm sure the other guys didn't either. But maybe next time we'll be strapped or roll up on an armored bike...since your neighborhood is such an interesting area.
Then again all the neighborhoods we rode through were interesting. There was that one place that stank of death. That other place where the cops were running around with guns. And that one spot where I almost got clipped by that asshole driver.
But seriously, I had fun. I'd been waiting for a ride in that area for awhile. The only other option was 5fix2 and they're a bit far from where I'm at. Riding through the hood was fun. I know all the other people from the area (South Gate, Cudahy, Maywood, Downey, Long Beach, etc) appreciated the ride as well.
