Keith Olbermann quits MSNBC

This just in Keith Olbermann has resigned from post on MSNBC's "The Countdown". When asked the reason for this decision He responded "I'm just tired of it all, A man can only feign indignation about every ridiculous mistake the right makes for so long before he exhausts himself." He added "I've decided to go back to ESPN, I've had an offer on the table now for awhile, and it just seems like a good time. This whole new uproar about Lance doping has really drawn my ire. The French have had their viewpoints forced upon the American people for too long, and It's time to fight back."
So what does this mean for The Salton Sea 4 trip?

The thing I hate most about right wing pundits is that they tend to act like self righteous blowhards. But at the same time, the cocksure attitude sort of suits their narrow "always right" view of the world.
That stance, while good for ratings, isnt so well suited to a "liberal" which by definition should be thoughtful and open-minded.
Keith's endless rants of self righteous indignation started to wear thin a long time ago.
In truth ... I think Keith took the message of "the rally to restore sanity" to heart and realized that acting like every day was the end of the world because some d-bag member of congress told a fib, actually did absolutely nothing to advance rational discourse.

Did you just really call Keith Olbermann a right wing pundit?

And I doubt he's going back to ESPN... at least right away. Contracts of people like him have clauses that can and will keep him off the air for a certain period of time.

Left wing violence, right wing violence, all seems much the same,
Bully boys out fighting, it's just the same old game.
Boring fucking politics that'll get us all shot,
Left wing, right wing, you can stuff the lot.
Keep your petty prejudice, I don't see the point,
ANARCHY AND FREEDOM IS WHAT I WANT.

I didn't call him either right or left.
I assumed anybody reading this knows the keith is well know for being a solid mainstream liberal.
But regardless of the that.
And the that his rants tend to be much more factually based than his right wing counterparts... he still comes off as a blowhard windbag.
As for your dubious applied algebra equation I would refer you to
this daily show clip. ;-)

Here, I'll help ya:
"right wing pundits... tend to act like self righteous blowhards"
and
"Keith's endless rants of self righteous indignation
I recognize he mentions liberal in the previous sentence, but since they, the left and the right wing pundits, are diametrically opposed (or so they want us to believe) it was just weird seeing them get described almost the same with the key words being those which are supposed to separate the two.

Thank you, its not everyday someone calls me a genius and complements my new svelte figure, with most people it's one or the other.
Thanks for admitting you were wrong, that was all I wanted.
