Can you do data recovery on an external hardrive? it wasnt dropped or anything, it was plugged into my comp when i tried to reinstall windows, now it says its blank and it wants to reformat... I will pay a fair price eddie

I've got PS3, well the CS3 package, if you want it. I'm gonna be with company all weekend but if Sarah (rockintothrice) happens to go on a ride or if you're around Burbank, I can hook you up with a dvd. Worked as of a month ago when I put it on a friends. Might need to hunt down a new serial if it doesn't though.

Oh and Eddie, depending on what we hear back from some lab we took it to, I might have a hard drive that needs recovery too. Not sure how good you are but we took it some place and they told us no-go and to take it to some place where guys are wearing white lab coats? I'm guessing some straight-up computer engineers for nasa type ish. Gonna cost us 800-3000 to have Neil Armstrong and his company to save if it they can.
Thoughts?

I've sent several friends to Eddie and they were all happy.
He did things like:
- Cleanup virus infected PC,
- Replace F'd up CD Drive
- Troubleshoot dead PC, replace power supply
and more.
He can usually do the job same day or by the next day.
