MTB RIDES

a few friends and I will ride our mountain bikes a lot more now that the season is rolling in. anyone is welcome to join us and we will be extra cautious for fellow riders. higher risk = higher conscience.
we usually meet anywhere from 7-8, and roll out promptly. helmets and bright lights are highly recommended, and the level of fitness will differ depending on mood, location, and group. we know lots of trails, from beginner to expert, and some dirt jumping areas as well.
we do serious riding, but we aren't looking to out hustle anyone. we will keep an equilibrium throughout the night, keep a super positive vibe, and get away from the congestion of the concrete jungle!

p.s., we are riding tonight....so if you're interested by the time you've read this, drop me a line ;)

If you're looking for a weekly ride in the valley, get in touch with
Paul at Atomic Cycles.
Bring lights (bright ones), It's a shorty loop good for old timers and people just getting into the sport, not fast or hard but fun. Recommended to bring a helmet because we're riding in the dark. Bring a tube, pump & tool so you don't kill the ride with a mechanical. Can be done on a single speed, full rigid etc. We'll expand the ride and loop as people join us. Also, We leave at 7 pm. Not 7:15, not 7:30 but 7. Be on time. This ride take anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half. Come join the fun. Riding with a group is much more enjoyable than riding solo.

oh yeah heard of those weekly rides from Paul. i used to ride the NoHo/Valley rides twice a week with one or 2 of his guys. there's just so many trails around here that are riding distance from my house i haven't bothered myself to drive out there yet...and i keep forgetting! thanks for the reminder, though! we've already planned on doing the S.C.U.M.B.A.G. ride on the 7th.
the main reason for my post is an invitation for people to join us whenever they would like. we already ride 5 days or 5 nights a week, and sometimes twice a day if we do shorter trails. if anyone, including Paul and his Atomic Cycles crew wanna join, they are more than welcome. i will keep anyone posted.
i'd like to add that we also do trail building while the season is ripe!
