 Wow, you guys have some great answers. I love riding the streets of LA, and the weather is definitely a big plus. I don't really like riding too much in the snow.

 I beg to differ, I rode through downtown SLC in the snow a few years back.
It was fun watching all the cars slip off the street and run into each other, going only 5 mph!!!

The way I see it, urban areas with lots of people/buildings and rural areas with a central-square and no more than a thousand people are fun to ride in.
