Hello ridazz, I just joined today and I'm looking forward to my first ride! I recently moved into the city, and I'm new to the bike culture. I don't have my bike with me yet because I need to buy a lock for it. So if anyone has an extra bike I could use for an upcoming ride, I would be extremely grateful! I can't wait to meet y'all. ;D

we dont know.. we just have to put some new tubes thats all.. i think the oven sells them for 3 bucks or something... ioh yeah its a road bike with mtb tires and rims. i dont know why it has mtb rims? : / but we can give you some old speed bike rims as well.

your local shop is Echo Park Cycles on EP ave. All the way up.
They are RAD peeps.
Limited hours because they all work as bike messengers but a great place to get bike parts and service in the evening.

I actually visited EP Cycles yesterday, went in and looked around. But the people there were busy fixing some peoples' bikes so i didn't talk to them. I'll definitely go back there and meet them.
I'm considering going to MidnightSocial's recommended shop in el monte for the discount.

@ snowcone, yeah come to the shop we go to. its prety cool and if you tell them we sent you, he offers discounts.
the shop runs out of bike stuff quick, but hes willing to order anything for your bike at no added cost. a lot of riders we know go to him for fixie completes because he sells them for 380. bike repairs are cheap too.
i got my mavic rims built with tires, tubes, chain, and grip for $225.
the number for the shop is on our myspace site, just incase you want to call.

@ aksendz, we know of people selling frames though? we know of a fugi bike frame, peugeot red 54cm for 180 complete. and some other frames..... the peugeot is really nice ready to ride...

I just want a lightweight frame that i can build up so i can bond with my bike.
because right now i prefer my 20 dollar pos hybrid beater to your new fixie .

aksendz, the peugeot is a nice bike to fix and bond with? you should check it out.. we think hes selling a old school fugi frame for like 50 bucks too.. all these bike are for sale at the biek shop we go to...
