New city riders for magazine article

Hi -
I'm working on a magazine article that would celebrate brand-new converts to biking in Los Angeles. I'm trying to focus on families, kids, commuters who aren't really part of the more hard-core bike community (or weren't.)
Obviously, Ridazz-types don't really fall into that category, but if you know anyone, please feel free to contact me:

Thanks,
Dan

Soulbarn is also a long time member of our community.
He has written some really good stories about the Los Angeles biking scene for national magazines.

"Obviously, Ridazz-types don't really fall into that category, "
That's an unfair assumption.
...I'll consider emailing, regardless.

To be fair I think he was trying to make the distinction of what type of riders he was looking for.
Yes there are new Ridazz-types that may fit in his scope of work.

Thanks for all the replies, even the hilarious/cynical ones.
Yes, I'm pretty well aware that Ridazz are experienced. Still, is it insane to think that some of us might have actually introduced or are introducing friends to the sport?
I hope that clarifies my question.
