I've made and sold more tall bikes than the Ozmonds have teeth. Why is it wrong to provide someone with a fun bike they enjoy? I doubt any of you made any bike from scratch that you're riding now. Make fun shit, spread it around, share the fun. Having a tall bike does not make you a member of some exclusive club, the're nothing new.
but 500 bucks? get real.

im not against selling or buying tallbikes. my friend louise just bought one for 40$ but trying to sell your POS for 500$ is sacrilege. tallbikes are worthless not a marketable commodity. Also everyone in this thread minus imachynna and alfredo have made freakbikes.

no, I meant building a bike from scratch, not making a tall bike from other bikes. Thus nullifying one's argument that bikes people make (tall of otherwise) should not be sold. Not one of you have built a bike from the ground up, that was what I was trying to say, and of coure you had to buy them from someone that at some point in the bikes life, did. If it's sacrilege, then I'm the biggest heathen out there. Sell, make more, sell make more, sell, make more....

you can sell anything just don't act like this guy and think some piece of crap you hacked together is worth 500$. Other than that sell sell sell, I have great respect for all your creations and have fun at choppacabras. I know if i didn't give away the bikes i built i wouldnt have space to build new ones.

I agree 500 is out of line, I usually sell one of my 30 minute tall bikes for 150.00. I figure that's reasonable. I used to hang on to every chopper, tall bike, stretch cruiser that I made, now I just let them go becasue I can do it again and again and I get to share my ideas with others and I make money. I've got no problem with that, because there's no glamor in being poor and not everyone has the tools or skill to make custom bikes.
