Promising myself

Hey folks. I've pretty much fell off the map this year and I'm sorry. Not really sorry to you all because I doubt you noticed, but sorry to myself because for many years Midnight Ridazz was my absolute favorite thing about Los Angeles. I lived for it. I scheduled travel around rides and skipped out of events just to hit the streets. I know you all know what I mean.

Anyway, this year I dropped the ball. I moved across town to an area I was unfamiliar with and made excuses why I couldn't make it to rides. I traveled a lot which made those excuses even easier to swallow. The excuses don't matter, the results do and I hate the results. I want to ride again. I need to actually. I didn't realize how important it was to me and I'm extremely disappointed in myself for not recognizing that.

And of course it's not just the rides, it's all of you. Especially those of you I don't know, that was always the most amazing thing to me about this community and the thing I mist the most.

Anyway, I'm not saying this for any reason other than to go on record and say I'm going to make every effort to change that in 2010 and make it back out again. I'm saying it here so I know that if I don't then I'm failing on a public promise which I hope will motivate me even more.

It shouldn't take that much, and its embarrassing that it does. So anyway, that's it. Hope to see you soon.
