I always check in with the Courage Campaign--they've always got a handy Vote Progressive pdf with easy-to-understand recommendations. This election was no exception. It's here:

As riders, we are rarely asked our opinion. But today, you can give your opinion by voting, and make it count. Ride to the polls and vote today. Elections, particularly todays, will be decided by a few thousand voters in total. VOTE today it does matter.
If your uncertain where to vote the Los Angeles County Voter Registrar Clerks office has a web site to find your voting location at
http://www.lavote.net/LOCATOR/
Frequently Asked Questions:
If you were previously registered in Los Angeles County and have not re-registered since you moved within the County's borders, you can vote at the polling place for your new address. You will be asked to vote a provisional ballot and provide your new address and your previous address on the provisional ballot envelope, but your vote will still count.
Even if you did not vote in the last election. You can still vote. Go to your correct polling place for where you live, request a ballot and vote. If the poll worker is unwilling to provide you a ballot, always request a provisional ballot to ensure your right to vote and to have your vote count occurs.
