I'm about to feed my dog. I just rolled a couple joints. After he's fed then I'm going for a short ride in the hahamonga park area next to jpl, just for some exercise before Sundays coaster brake challenge race. But no one to help burn these things with me will be oh so sad. Don't worry- I'm slow so anyone can ride with me
let me know if you feel like stepping out and meeting up.
Oh and in case you're confused by weird time stamp like I am- in reality it is 6:40pm on Wednesday the 6th, of 2010. Which pretty much is the future.

Could be good, but I don't feel like going far or staying out too late. Had margaritas at lunch. Isn't there some other stoner with a bike up here?

Screw it. I'm out. Blazin solo. See you and your mom on the next ride.

...i recently moved to pasadena, by the rose bowl, man there are so many awesome spots up here! the jpl area is so dope, every time i ride i keep finding new spots, mountainbiking it up amongst the trees and the hills, love it, and yes pass that, solar toking with the magnifying glass all over the place *yum* it's been so sunny and nice lately ;)

i'll keep bumping this old jpl smoke thread
well it's a beautiful sunny day today, i'm doing some gardening but a bit later, probably 3~4pm i'm heading back up to jpl area
i keep hearing of brown mountain, looking on google earth right now trying to find this, what i have been doing is just going up to the devils gate dam area, there's a path there that leads into the jpl area, i end up at the parking lot after a bit, ride up this steep ass short hill and i'm on some sort of road overlooking jpl, i just kind of continue on and see signs stating "fire damage nobody is allowed blahblah", i don't follow the road but veer left along the creek side path, i went as far as this bridge that was all washed out in front of it, you'd have to kind of carry your bike on this concrete portion and lift it through the fence on the bridge then you can continue on, last weekend it was getting dark by then so i just turned back. there was some older guy coming from up that way, all decked out in his pro biking gear, i'm sure i can do it if the dude my dad's age could do it
anyways, if anyone happens to see this and happens to be biking around there this afternoon, i'm a short white guy on a blue kona with only front suspension, the back tire is new and has this red sidewall thing going on on it, there's a sticker on the front that reads "gone checking...", i have a small portable sound system so if you hear some old breakbeat/jungle/techno ish stuff that's probably me, so anyways, looking forward to the ride later, it's such a lovely day out =)

hi tchap, haha yeah you got me, that was a fun night for sure, pretty sure it was the first one moby played at, forget which year, imho he totally rocked the coliseum, john 00 fleming played just before too if i remember correctly, he tore it up proper, love that phat booming massive bass
i went up the brown mountain fire road thingy yesterday, it was gorgeous up there! not sure how far i went, quite a ways past the giant green satellite transceiver tower thing with the nasa keep out sign posted, i came very close to eating it hard on the way back down haha. there is a lot of wild tobacco growing around there, i stopped on the way down and packed a bit that looked dry-ish into my pipe, man what a mistake that was *cough wheeeeze die*, as i'm trying it these 2 mountainbikers come jamming around the corner, look right at the piece and say in an aussie accent, "haha carry on!" well it was a fun ride, definitely need to go back up there again soon, maybe later today hmmm
