i really hope 09 is an improvement for you. i know you been thru alot lately. the whole being hit by a car thing really made me realize that life and friends are way too precious. Ive beena real dick lately, and im sorry if you felt it.

I know '08 was a pisser for many but I can't complain. Little did I know when I bought a bike back in March that it would come with a whole pile of new friends. I feel very lucky to have ridden with you all and I wish everyone a happy and safe new year ! Peace ! LOve !

am I the only one that realizes that there is no difference between the new year and the old year. its so arbitrary. we could have a new year on the first of july and it wouldn't matter.
but for those that celebrate. happs news years.

Yes, you (and 500 billion chinese) are the only ones who realize that its totally arbitrary and meaningless to celebrate the "new year" on Jan 1.
We just choose to overlook that fact because it is fun to have an annual, ritualistic right of passage into the new year, lest we never take time to consider the path we are on, what we accomplished since the last time our earth made a complete rotation around the sun and what we hope to accomplish before is does so again.
Here is to another complete rotation around the sun.
Next stop: Chinese New Year (a perfect time to renew those resolutions that only lasted a couple of weeks).

08 was probably the worst year of my life. But I'm sure that with the "Letting go" of this year life can seem much easier. Time to buckle down and start living.
