This just in from the O.C. Register:

SEAL BEACH – Officers pulled over a bicyclist on the I-405 freeway, who was spotted riding on the northbound side of the freeway for nearly four miles, authorities said.

The 18-year-old was spotted just after 1 p.m. by commuters, who notified the California Highway Patrol, said officer Gabe Montoya.
Drivers noticed the bicycle on the right shoulder of the freeway near the Westminster Boulevard exit, he said.
The man appears to have jumped onto the freeway from an onramp, though it was unclear why. Officers spotted the man and escorted him off of the freeway at the Seal Beach Boulevard exit, he said.
It was not immediately clear if the man was cited by officers
