Meet: Campaign HQ, 5619 Hollywood Blvd
What: Walk precincts for MR's own Stephen Box
It's time for cyclists to get out in numbers and support Stephen Box for City Council. He's our candidate, he fights for us everyday, and if we get him in City Hall, the sky's the limit for biking in Los Angeles.
Come out every Wednesday from now till election day (3/8) to walk precincts in support of Stephen Box.
We'll meet at Box4CC Campaign Headquarters at 5:30pm, receive brief training from Campaign Manager Enci Box, and then we'll hit the streets by 6pm. If you have to come a bit late, do come, and Enci will direct you to us.
Bring a bike (or if you must, drive), since we may be walking in a neighborhood that is biking distance but not walking distance from HQ. We'll walk till around 830pm, and then retire, hopefully to some warm place with pizza, coffee, pie and hot cocoa.
