Like they asked earlier... how long has it been since you've been on the saddle? Fast or chill paced? If you like something like a nice chill paced ride then I'd give the Pedal Punx ride a try in North Hollywood this 1/31. Flat, wide valley roads and awesome routes. If you're out on the westside then Taco Tuesdays and Crank Mob. Read the descriptions of the rides on the right and they usually tell you pace and what to expect.
Make sure to have your bike checked out, pump/tubes/tools, and a good attitude and you'll get hooked!!
Riding in the pack is just the beginning, soon you'll want to participate head-on.
This could either be done by dressing up in a wild get-up, or hauling ass with a 20-30 lb system on the back of your bike screaming,
"JOHNNIE B GOODE!!!!"

you will say something stupid and there will be uproars, you will think you dont care but you probably will if you are intrigued enough by our scene and then you will want to be part of the core elite (i still dont know who that even is, but you will want to be part of it) and then you wont be able to because you made an ass out of yourself on the forums. it's better to make an ass out of yourself on your bike, you are more justified. also, you can't delete anything you say. but, you know what, you might not say anything stupid... so just do what ever you think makes you look the coolest. riding your bike could help
You wont have to do anything , soon enough youll see it swallow all ur free time. Even if you dont want Midnightridazz to take over and wipe out your other hobbies it'll still occur. Midnightridazz does not need your consent. resistance is futile...

FAIL. Inside jokes are meant to be subtly inserted into normal conversation so that those who understand it can laugh at those who don't. You can't just point it out, that takes away from the elitism of it all! That said....
