I was hit last night about 2am by Wilshire and Crenshaw. Luckily I walked away with some scrapes and a sore hip but the person never stopped. I dont even know if it was a guy or girl but whoever it was was too worried about how much trouble they'd be in if they stopped to make sure I needed medical attention. People need to start caring about one another again.

Good luck with that. If you think you can change reverse thousands of years of human behavioral conditioning, more power to you.
I assume anyone on these boards would stop to help if they saw something like this happen, but... I like to think that's part of
why some of us are part of MR to begin with. But outside of the Ridazz family, and maybe your own personal friends and family ... good luck.
I think everyone knows how I feel about law enforcement's attitude towards cyclists, but in this case I wouldn't even think to mention them or the judicial system in this thread. What can the police or courts do if there is no vehicle or suspect description whatsoever? Even if they wanted to?
Blaming human nature, though... it's called for, but not sure what you can do about it.
