Okay, I'm breaking this off into a new thread...
Don, here's the best idea I could come up with:
DRAMATIC RECREATION RECREATION
Wherein: the ride stops at the filming sites of various media representations of the rides and cameras are set up where people can recreate those recreations. Re-do the Leto video; have a series of people proclaiming "YOU DON'T KNOW ME!"; do cover versions of news reports, etc., etc. And then also encourage people just to bring cameras (video and still) and record the ride itself. Then, after the ride, gather all the footage/images and edit it into some gigantic parody of the parody that is the media representation, making sure to include dramatic music and voiceovers.

There's plenty of time left. Just think of a couple places to which it would be fun to take a group and then reverse engineer a justifying concept (preferably a concept requiring ridiculous costumes).

Bikini/Beach ride. Have everyone bring a towel and their summer wear (whatever it is or isnt) and spray out at a park like you would at a beach.

Midnight Ridazz has become one of the more intimate rides on the calendar. In celebration of this, I bring you - the New Mommas and the New Poppas - a nostalgic ride of sorts through the streets of Los Angeles.
Gather at: 9pm Little Ceasar's Parking Lot (Used to be Pioneer Chicken) at Echo Park and Sunset.
Leave at: 10pm
I'm expecting this ride to be small and intimate. We will get to know each other and get back to that old feeling that the ride had when there were just the 8 of us.
NO RIDA LEFT BEHIND
Special route.

HAHA yep, it had been so long since I've made a midnight ridazz route that I completely forgot about the left hand turn issue. oooops.
I just wanted to say how happy I was to see all the familiar friends and faces there along with all the new folks just getting started.
THANK YOU HARRY and BARLEYE for bringing and towing the music trailer.
THANK YOU FUNDERSTORM! For the show at echo park!
Thanks to everyone who actually followed through with stopping at the lights even when it broke up the mass!
Thanks everyone for generally staying in the right lane and letting cars pass on the left. Thanks to everyone for stopping BEHIND the cars in line at the lights instead of swarming around them.
LAHARR. Where did you go my brother?
Next time I'm bringing a beach cruiser for the 8mph average we kept.
