Road Bikes highly recommended. Fixed gear bikes are OK, but unless you're Daman or Sean Saxton you will likely want gears for the climbs/descents on climbing nights.
Have lights. If you do not have at least a front brake do not bother coming.

BMX Cruise Nights

We get together and ride our bmx bikes. Get there by 6pm, we try and leave by 6:15. We usually go to some spot for grub that's a few miles away. And we RIDE. This is not a few block cruise or some hipster ride with beer stops, we don't stop unless one of us breaks down. Usually a 2-3 hour or so affair. Strongly recommend a 24" or 26 bmx cruiser as we like to keep up the pace. We gladly welcome new school bikes and of course love the vintage rides. Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf on the South West corner of Reseda & Ventura Blvd Jan 10th 7:00 AM
Spectators: 3
Meat Pylons: 5
We are going to race from the top of Reseda Blvd to the end of Dirt Mulholland at Topanga Canyon. Once you hit the pavement, you'll turn around. There's a gate about 2/3 of the way through that you'll have to go around. The course is fire road and is a series of undulating hills so you'll be descending and climbing most of the time. The total length is about 7 miles long.
