On Sunday April 18,2011 approximately 9:15pm
Manny santizo was riding his bike in silver lake two blocks from home when he was struck by a car. The car backed up after hitting
him and fired three shots at him fatally wounding him.
Manny worked at a fast food restaurant to support his aging parents and his four year old child.
No gang affiliations. Hard worker. Kind hearted guy.
A son, a brother, a father, a friend and now a victim of senseless violence.
I have painted a ghost bike for him and am planning to chain it up this Friday night.
